Natasha Richardson Laid to Rest, Lance Armstrong Breaks His Collarbone and Danica McKellar Weds

As nasty storms pound the Midwest, Hollywood has a similar dark cloud resting over its inhabitants. After her tragic and unexpected death, Natasha Richardson was laid to rest by husband Liam Neeson and her family. Lance Armstrong hit a snag during a race in Spain and suffered an injury because of it. The only bright news on the horizon is the wedding of Wonder Years sweetheart Danica McKellar and the success of Robin Williams' heart surgery.

Final Farewell to Natasha Richardson

Surrounded by family and friends, Natasha Richardson was laid in a cemetery in upstate New York. Richardson's husband, actor Liam Neeson, their sons Micheal and Daniel, her mother Vanessa Redgrave and sister Joely Richardson and a multitude of friends from the acting community were present during the funeral at St. Peter's Church in Millbrook, N.Y. on Sunday afternoon. Neeson was one of the pallbearers who carried the casket.

The family kept close together, but waved to reporters and fans who had gathered to watch the somber event. They later gathered for a family portrait for photographers. Richardson was buried near her grandmother, Rachel Redgrave, the mother of Vanessa Redgrave. Neeson joined Redgrave in visiting the grave soon after the service.

My thoughts and prayers are with Neeson and Redgrave and their families during this heartbreaking time.

Lance Armstrong Breaks His Collarbone

Just because you've won the Tour de France seven times, doesn't mean you can't mess up every now and then. Armstrong crashed his bicycle during the opening stage of the race in Spain on Monday. The crash resulted in a collarbone fracture, which may prevent Armstrong from competing in the Giro d'Italia and possibly the Tour de France.

Armstrong told The Associated Press that he is unsure how the injury will affect him and that he was on his way to the United States to meet with doctors who will decide if he needs surgery. The Tour begins July 4th.

Here's hoping he can make it!

Winnie Cooper is Off the Market!

The former Wonder Years beauty wed her longtime boyfriend, composer Mike Verta in California on Sunday, putting to rest any stragglers' hopes that she would somehow end up with fellow Wonder Years star Fred Savage.

The couple, who have been together since 2001, had a beautiful oceanside ceremony that was witnessed by 150 guests, including Wonder Years costars Crystal McKellar, Dan Lauria and Alley Mills. Sorry fans, Fred Savage was not in attendance.

Robin Williams Back on Track After Successful Surgery

It looks like Robin Williams wasn't kidding when he said that he'd be getting back to his comedy tour as soon as possible. The actor/comedian remains in good spirits after undergoing a heart surgery on March 13th that replaced his aortic valve, repaired his mitral valve and corrected an irregular heartbeat.

The surgery was a success and Williams is expected to make a full recovery. His doctor told E!Online that Williams was already back to business after surgery, entertaining the medical staff only hours afterwards.
