Natasha Richardson Taken Off Life Support
TMZ also reports that Richardson was unconscious when taken out of the ambulance as it arrived at Lenox Hill Hospital. The medics that flew on-board with her informed the ambulance team upon arrival that she was brain dead. Richardson's husband, Liam Neeson, was at her side during the trip from Canada to New York. They have been married for 15 years and have two children.
This story has had some incredible turns, as each day brings a different turn of events. Just yesterday on March 16, 2009, TMZ reported that Richardson was not brain dead, but suffering from brain swelling according to their sources.
Richardson's injury on Monday did not appear to be serious, as she was conscious after the fall, and making jokes about the incident. Several hours later she became ill with a severe headache and was taken to a hospital in Montreal, Canada.
