National Book Festival in Washington, D.C. Hosted by the Library of Congress
Judy Blume, John Grisham, Nicolas Sparks and Many More Come Together to Support Reading!
Many authors will be in attendance supporting their own love of reading and encouraging others to pick up a book to read. PBS, The Public Broadcasting System, will be in attendance for The National Book Festival and will be performing children's book readings throughout the day.
Some of the authors in attendance will be:
David Baldacci, New York Times Best-Selling author for 14 consecutive weeks with hits like The Collectors, Divine Justice and First Family. He will hold a book signing between 1:30pm- 2:30pm at The National Book Festival.
Judy Blume, author of books like Blubber: Just as Long as We're Together, Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, and Summer Sisters, not to mention Superfudge, will be at The National Book Festival at the Teen & Children's Pavilion and be hosting a book signing for her book Fiend or Friend: With the Pain & the Great One.
Nicholas Sparks, author of The Notebook, Message in a Bottle and Nights in Rodanthe, will be at a book signing and then at the Fiction and Fantasy Pavilion from 3pm- 3:30pm.
Other authors who will be in attendance include Nikki Grimes, Shannon Hale, Douglas Brinkley, Kay Ryan, Patricia Smith, John Irving, David Wroblewski, John Grisham, Mary Jane Clark, Megan McDonald, Mary Jane Clark, and many others. For a full list of authors, please go here.
