National Enquirer Reports Todd Palin Affair with Shailey Tripp

Did Todd Palin have an affair with a "massage therapist?" That's what the National Enquirer is reporting.

The National Enquirer reports that Todd Palin cheated on Sarah with a woman named Shailey Tripp, a massage therapist who was arrested on March 4, 2010, for maintaining a house of prostitution.

The Enquirer has reportedly uncovered official documents confirming Tripp's arrest. They also report that the police have physical evidence tying Todd to an extramarital affair. There are also documents that Tripp had contributed free massages to an anonymous person working on Sarah Palin's gubernatorial campaign.

As reported by an "anonymous" source, "According to the tenants in the building of her offices, they saw Todd come and go often and heard noises that sounded like someone was having sex. It was the same tenants who called the police on her."

The anonymous source used the email address thepalinmorals@hotmail.com.

For now I'd have to take these affair rumors with a grain of salt. Anyone can set up a hotmail account. And the Palins have been subject to so many false rumors over the years that it's difficult to give credence to these National Enquirer reports.

This morning, reports circulated that Bristol Palin had changed her son Tripp's surname from Johnston to Palin. E News finally confirmed that the rumors were false. An Alaska court official had confirmed no petitions had been filed to change Tripp's name.

In summer 2009, numerous journals and blogs (including Immoral Minority) reported that Sarah and Todd Palin were on the brink of divorce, yet these rumors never came to fruition.

In September 2008, when news broke of Bristol Palin's pregnancy, the Palins had to deny reports that Sarah's youngest son, Trig, was actually Bristol's baby (as reported by Associated Press).

In September 2008, FactCheck.org published a lengthy report addressing political misconceptions about Sarah Palin, such as her rumored participation in the Alaska Independence Party, her stance on book-burning, her rumored support of Pat Buchanan, and her views on the role of creationism in schools.

And in November 2008, the National Enquirer reported photographic evidence of Cindy McCain cheating on her husband with a long-haired man. Yet the photo itself is so grainy that it is impossible to make out whether or not it really is Cindy McCain. Such photographic evidence is about as reliable as that "anonymous" source who had supposedly seen Todd Palin cheating on his wife.

Just more brazen attempts to smear the Palin family. I don't believe a word of this garbage. As long as the Enquirer presents it as a "is he?" "was he?" "what if?" and not write or publish anything that they claim are facts, they are safe from being sued. It's all just to boost their circulation. And give Obama a boost too, no doubt. Just a diversion and distraction from failing policies the fleecing of the taxpayers. Between Todd campaigning with Sarah, being Mr. Mom when she's travelling, participating in the taping of the documentary, running his fishing business and working on the North Slope...just when would he even have time to fool around. Also they have a very large extended family that are in very close proximity. Plus, he knows how the media is constantly stalking the whole family for any grain of inpropriety. Up until now the ONLY Palins not smeared are Todd and little Piper, and Trigg. Guess they are just looking for &quo

Between the AP and the Enquirer, the Enquirer is more accurate in the reporting of its news. It has to be because it is such a target of lawsuits.
