Three Acrostic Oems

Erik Frenz
Corporate Congeniality

Stubborn customers, always forgetting how to order.
To bring myself to breathe is to erase my face,
And replace it with a smile.
Replace the emotions, the bad with the good,
Behind the oppression, the screams of a banshee;
Underneath the smile, a tongue that'll cut like a knife.
Coffee gets brewed every half hour, then we dump it out.
Kind of ironic; this is what they want us to do with our emotions.
Smile, flush, refill, repeat.

Growth Through Now

Given all I've been through, good and bad,
Reality is your presence every moment.
Our days are run by time, our minds attached to it
When time is nothing but a series of moments.
The power of now overcomes the past and the future.
Happiness is absolution of these, and acceptance of now.

Try Love

Lucid, my mind has erased its conscience, and
overriden my emotions; numb to my own existence,
violence seems the path to absolution,
except even "revolver" can't be spelled without "love".
