Suffering the Likes

J L Carey Jr
Jezebel would enjoy your rots,
Adorning such gibberish slew.
Briggands, dullards, galumphing mots,
Boondoggles and all the like too
Are somewhat stupefied in clots
When given such hullabaloo.
Or is this just some dream like fit,
Could its existence be untrue?
Kierkegaard would surely admit -
Yes, we're dumber having read you.

THanks for the comment, J.L., and you have a good weekend too! I have to admit this one confused me, as I thought you were making fun of the poem, which I memorized in high school:) (Twas brilling and the slithy toves did gire and gimble in the wabe. No idea if that's spelled right.) Anyway, I looked for a poet by this name to no avail. Oh, well. Good poem either way!

This poem is about a poet who called himself Jabbawocky, a misspelling of Lewis Carol's Jabberwocky.

Now I'll have to Google 'em (some of the words)! Interesting poem.
