Natural Anti-Aging Techniques: How to Make Anti-Aging Skin Care Products from Home

Clark
In today's economy, buying $100 creams is unrealistic, especially when you can go through your cabinets and refrigerators and find youth preserving ingredients that are actually better for your skin.

Beauty Secret #1: Cleanse away dead skin

When battling aging, the first step is to cleanse away any loose or dead cells at the surface. Milk is universally known as a cleansing agent that rinses away impurities and leaves the skin glowing. Honey cleanses and removes dead skin cells as well as make-up and other surface dirt.

Technique
Mix together even parts of milk, honey and a mild liquid soap in a clean container. Shake well and apply to face as a cleanser. Use twice a day to keep skin fresh and free from buildup. Refrigerate remaining solution.

Beauty Secret #2: Close large pores

One sign of youth is refined pores. As we age, pores appear stretched and large. They are clogged with dirt and impurities.

Use a mask of lemon juice and yeast. The citric acid in the lemon kills bacteria and shrinks pores while the yeast extracts impurities that make pores large.

Technique
Take 1 lemon and a packet of yeast. Mix a teaspoon of yeast with fresh squeezed lemon juice to make a paste. Leave on face for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. You can dip a cotton ball in the leftover lemon juice and use it as a toner before moisturizing.

Beauty Secret #3: Apply a nourishing mask

Aging skin can be very dry and in need of vitamins and natural oils. Bananas contain high contents of Vitamin A and avocados contain an abundance of Vitamin A as well as Vitamin B and protein. Together they make a mask that restores natural oil to combat dry skin and fine lines.

Technique
Mash together an avocado and banana. Smooth over face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and refrigerate remaining mixture.

Beauty Secret #4: Moisturize thirsty skin

After a deep cleaning treatment, this is the best opportunity for the skin to absorb a natural moisturizer that will aid in keeping the skin youthful and glowing. Olive oil is one of the original beauty ingredients and Vitamin E oil is used to heal all skin aliments including sun damage, scars and wrinkles.

Technique
Combine Vitamin E oil and olive oil together to use as a moisturizer. This is one of my favorites, and a little goes a long way. Each person is different, so the amount depends solely on individual skin condition. This solution nourishes skin, heals age spots and smooths fine lines over time.

Let skin soak in oil for at least an hour before applying make-up. You will notice that make-up will glide onto face and appear smoother and prettier.

Beauty Secret #5: Battle the signs of cellulite

Caffeine is the cosmetic industry's best kept beauty secret. Believe it or not, caffeine is a major ingredient in expensive cellulite creams that melt away dimples. Before investing in costly products, go to your coffee filter first.

Technique
Get the warm coffee grounds from your morning pot, and take the full filter to the bathtub. Rub the moist grounds vigorously on cellulite and rinse off in the shower. Do this once a day and watch cellulite disappear before your eyes.
