Natural Choice Organic California Strawberries from Purepak, Inc. ( Taste )
With fruit, for various reasons, sometimes you get really good fruit and sometimes you don't. Sometimes it can be the grower or where it's grown; sometimes it's the time of year or how well the sun rained on the crops before harvest. This particular pack of organic strawberries from Purepak, Natural Choice Organic California Strawberries, were purchase early in the strawberry harvest season. That's probably why they weren't too sweet, since sweetness is the primary way by which strawberries are judged good tasting or not.

What really prompted me to pick a pack of Natural Choice Organic California Strawberries from the fields of strawberries ornamenting the shelves of the many stores I was seeing them was the lower-than-usual price Whole Foods usually sells organic strawberries.
Were they worth the price? Well, considering they were organic...yes; considering they tasted alright...yes; considering I got a deal compared to what price Whole Foods usually sells organic strawberries...yes; considering writing this review led me to the website for Natural Choice Foods, which then led to me seeing and wanting to seek out and bring home for the wife and myself to taste "the first--and still the only-- line of organic fruit bars" on the market, by Natural Choice, as well as its delicious sounding line of sorbets ( including, of course, strawberry sorbet)...yes!
