This natural facial mask works to clarify and tone skin, ridding of uneven skin tones. The energizing facial mask acts as both as a peel-off mask and a moisturizing mask due to the ingredients of yogurt, milk, olive oil and honey. The cherry and lemon ingredients are astringent and even out skin pigment. These vitamin-packed fruits also contain powerful antioxidant properties. Replenishing the face with natural Vitamin C is like giving your skin a boost of vitamins. Yogurt is packed with enzymes and it balances skin ph levels, especially when using it in unison with ingredients such as lemon or aspirin. Additionally, try using a fruit based natural yogurt such as cherries; cherries contain toning properties, which act unique from citrus fruit such as lemons, limes and pineapples.
These are a few alternative ingredients you can add to the basic facial mask ingredients:
Adding 4-5 caplets of crushed aspirin will transform a mask into a gentle micro-dermal abrasion mask revealing a newer layer of fresh skin which is brighter, cleaner and smoother. Additionally, aspirin works effectively to eliminate pimples and acne. You can also add a gel base, or gelatin, to your mask creating a perfect peel-off mask. Peel-off masks effectively remove dirt, dead skin cells and fine hairs from the face.
Facial Mask Recipe
2 Tablespoons yogurt
A Dash of milk
1 Tablespoon honey
A wedge of lemon, or a few drops of lemon for drier skin
1 Tablespoon of virgin olive oil
Optional: Vitamin E, Aspirin, Gelatin
How to Apply the Energizing Facial Mask:
Before you begin the facial mask, cleanse your face using a facial cleanser and scrub. A simple and natural facial scrub consists of a little water or oil with dissolved brown sugar. After cleansing your face, squeeze the remaining lemon from the lemon wedge over the T-Zone area of the face. This will tighten the skin immediately. Begin gently applying the facial mask and allow it to energize the skin for 15 minutes. After you've gently removed the mask with a warm face cloth, or you've peeled the mask off with a peel-off version of the mask, apply natural vitamin E from a vitamin supplement into the skin. Add a final moisturizer to complete your home-made facial experience.
When you've completed your home facial, you'll find it uplifts tired and dull skin, soothes and moisturizes dry skin, evens out uneven skin tones and pigments, firms and tightens the skin, conditions the skin with a vitamin pack, deeply cleanses the pores, and acts as a safe micro-dermal abrasion for your skin. These beauty benefits are all whipped up into one natural energizing facial mask based on the simple ingredients found in the kitchen.
