Any type of mint usually works wonderfully for treating stomach problems including indigestion and acid reflux.

Lemon balm is in other excellent commonly used herb for various different digestive related problems. This herb helps relieve the symptoms of indigestion, stomach cramps, gassing us, or just a general upset stomach.
Goldenseal is sometimes used as well for treating heartburn because it helps balance the digestive enzymes in your stomach. This herbal remedy is also effective for treating various digestive tract disorders such as ulcers and constipation.
These are just a few of the herbal and natural remedies which can be used effectively for treating various stomach problems. In digestion and acid reflux are particularly problematic for some people, but treating them with herbs instead of prescription medications is usually thought to be much more safe for the long term. Herbal remedies often have the added benefit of healing and repairing damages which may have been caused over the long term.
Herbal remedies are not some sort of magic pill of course, and they too can sometimes have side effects and interactions with other medications. So be sure to consult with a knowledgeable doctor, herbal specialist, or natural healthcare practitioner before starting any herbal healthcare regimen of your own.
