Natural Odor Eliminator for Diapers

Being a new mom, I had much to learn. I had given birth to a beautiful daughter. She was the sweetest little thing and after leaving the hospital with this little bundle of joy and finally getting into a routine at home the green smellies arrived. They seemed to be coming from the many daily deposits our sweet little angel was giving us. Who ever would have thought they could smell like that! Something so small and cuddly could clear a room in seconds!

At any rate, while trying to keep up on the housework, There was always this weird smell, for the life of me I could not get rid of it. This was at a time when there were not such wonderful things like the diaper genie and air purifiers were not common in the home. At least not in our neck of the woods.
I would spray and clean and clean and spray, but still that awful turn green odor would not go away.

What I finally discovered was a simple little thing called charcoal. This comes in a variety of ways. You can buy charcoal filters, they come in small packs, and you can place them in the top of the garbage can, or diaper pail, (I even used them in the top part of the litter pan. No more spraying to cover up that rancid smell. It disappeared and that's all I needed.

Charcoal traps the vapors from the odors and thus gets rid of them. Change the filter as often as you like and the problem is solved. Some say that charcoal does not continually remove odors from the air, and that is probably true after some point in time, which is why it is important to change the filters out frequently.

In doing so you can enjoy your sweet little thing and not the massive reminders from her little behind.
