Natural Recipes for Perfect Skin

You could spend hundreds of dollars at a fancy spa to make yourself beautiful, but why when you can make your own spa at home for just a few dollars.

A clay mask can help eliminate breakouts. To make your own clay mask use clay powder (available at your local health food store) and water. Stir until creamy and smooth onto freshly washed skin. Relax for 20 minutes while the clay dries then rinse away. Store leftovers in an airtight jar for later use.

Lemon toner can make your skin look brighter in just one week. Mix 1/4 cup lemon juice, 3 Tbs witch hazel and 2 Tbs water. Use a cotton ball to smooth over entire face. Keep in airtight bottle in the fridge for up to one week.

Soy makes for an excellent cleanser. Blend 1 cup soy milk, 1/2 cup oats and 1 Tbs honey in blender until creamy. Massage over face and rinse with warm water. Store in airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

Chamomile toner can clear up redness. Using 5 tea bags make a strong tea and add 2 ounces witch hazel. Chill in the fridge and use as a toner on freshly washed skin. Keeps for up to a week.

Olive oil erases fine lines and wrinkles. Stir together 1/4 cup mashed chickpeas, 1 tsp light olive oil, 1/4 tsp lemon juice and 1 egg yolk. Smooth onto freshly washed skin and relax for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pay dry. This will only keep in the fridge for 2-3 days.
