First Remedy: Put Away The Shampoo
Unless you have an oily scalp, try to limit washing your hair. Try washing your hair two to three times a week, less if you can. This will prevent dryness of the hair, since shampoo is so harsh if used a lot.
Second Remedy: Condition Your Butt Off
When having dry hair, its important to have conditioned hair. Before conditioning in the shower, be sure to towel try your hair first, then apply the conditioner. Unlike shampoo, your main focus for conditioner is the roots and ends.
Third Remedy: At Home Hot Oil Treatment
To try the hot oil treatment at home, you just need some safflower oil. Just add a few drops in your palms and rub it through your hair. This will bring out the shine and moister in your hair. Rinse it out with warm water after a few minutes.
Forth Remedy: Eat Nuts!
Yep! Just add some more nuts to your diet to give your skin and scalp more oil.
Fifth Remedy: Get Out The Cooking Oil
I've used this remedy and it works great. You just need some cooking oil! Take the cooking oil, (a few drops) and rub it in your hair. Let it sit for 3 minutes and rinse with warm water. Be sure not to add too much.
Sixth Remedy: Cook Up Some Fish
Eating fatty acids such as fish will help your hair get moisture! Its true! Try to eat more fish, and other fatty acids, to have healthy look hair.
Seventh Remedy: Lotion Isn't For Your Legs Anymore!
This is a personal remedy I use all the time when I need some moisture in my hair. Just rub some lotion in your hair, and leave it in for a few minutes. After that, rinse it out with warm water.
Eighth Remedy: Start Wearing A Hat
Ever notice when you wear a hat after awhile, your hair looks oily? Try it for your dried hair! Start wearing a hat on your hair to draw up excess moisture from your scalp.
