Here are some possible causes of pain, with out actually diagnosing any actual illness or injury, and some things that you can do to try to stop the pain. Just like Dr. House, on the television show, experiments to find out what is wrong with his patients, you too will have to do some experimentation to find out how to cure your pain and what it is that is causing it. If you have chronic pain or pain that lasts more than a few hours you should seek medical attention.
A lack of oxygen can cause pain when breathing, chest pain and even headaches and other pains within our heads. Learning the right way to breath for pain relief and getting more oxygen flowing through the body and to the brain will help this kind of painful pressure. Take deep abdominal breaths for about ten to fifteen minutes at a time. Do this at least twice daily, for best results.
Dehydration can also be a cause of pain. Our bodies are made up of mostly water and if we aren't replenishing the water we sweat out we can get sick. Be sure to drink water on a daily basis. Cut down on the sugary drinks, which only make your body thirstier for fresh water and even more dehydrated! If you need some flavor in your water try adding a slice of lemon or some Crystal Light ™.
One major thing that you can do to help relieve chronic pain is by going to a massage therapist. Massage therapy can help people who suffer from autoimmune disorders like fibromyalgia, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, which all cause daily pain to their sufferers. Massage can also help to relieve tension pains, like migraines and back aches. Massage is even great for relieving inflammation, pain from old, and new, injuries like sports related ones, and the chronic pain that depression sufferers can be plagued with.
