Causes for high blood pressure are still not yet fully understood. Due to increase of fat in the body, cholesterol level increases. As a result, blood vessels get narrowed down and the blood pushes hard against the wall of the blood vessels causing Blood Pressure. Relaxation and Medicine Therapy: meditation is a popular method of treating hypertension. Breathing Exercises are known to control the Blood Pressure.
Vitamin and Mineral Therapy: Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium are some of the vitamins when taken regularly, reduces hypertension. These should be taken in appropriate dosage and under the supervision of a Doctor.
Yoga: There are many postures in Yoga which can treat this disease. Corpse and the knee squeeze postures are very much helpful in treating Hypertension.
