I found that it was sold at www.cvs.com , so I ordered a 3oz bottle of the Naturally Fresh Roll-On in Papaya Fusion for $3.99. The bottle is c-thru and has an orange top, the liquid deodorant is pale and lemon colored.
The bottle is slim and light and the Papaya Fusion fragrance smells like papayas it's tropical with a mix of sweet & sour notes. The Naturally Fresh Roll-On contains purified water, natural mineral salts, zinc ricionleate, fragrance, xanthan gum, chamomile extract, and phenoxyethanol.
Naturally Fresh's website www.tccd.com claims "that the roll-on combines all natural ingredients to eliminate odor causing bacteria while providing 24 hour non-staining hypoallergenic protection." While, "chamomile is added to sooth and moisturize shaved underarms." And that the roll-on is "non-sticky non-greasy," & "feels like a luxurious skin lotion."
The site also claims that the Papaya Fusion fragrance is 100% pure and natural. It's a blend of natural oils, resins, and extracts and is allergen and phthalate free.
When I tried the roll-on deodorant on I found that I didn't like the way the Papaya Fusion smelled as much as I thought. When I was applying it I could detect a floral fragrance along with the tropical scent, and I hate floral scents. The Papaya Fusion reminded me of potpourri or air freshener and it grossed me out.
Luckily though the scent died down significantly about two or three minutes after the deodorant dried. It was more appealing to me then because it smelled fresher and more tropical, but after a few hours the fragrance disappeared altogether, so it kind of defeated the purpose of buying a scented a deodorant.
When the Naturally Fresh Roll-on Deodorant first went on it felt very slick like I had applied lotion to my underarms and it was a bit sticky. But once it dried my underarms felt silkier than normal and it felt like I wasn't wearing anything at all. And with this deodorant I didn't have to worry about getting white stains on my clothes.
The roll-on didn't give me the 24 hr protection that the Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal does. But I think that's because I'm not quite sure of how many layers I should apply or how much liquid is being distributed from the roll-on.
I probably rolled the deodorant onto each underarm 3 times, and it gave me about 15 hrs of solid protection which is more than enough. And even after it began to wear off, I still didn't smell funky.
In the End...
I am still a huge fan of the Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal, and I will always buy those. But I really enjoyed the convenience of using a roll-on because I didn't have to use water. It gave me long lasting protection and made me feel fresh; I would definitely buy it again, although I'm not quite sure if I'd buy the Papaya Fusion scent again. I give it 4 out of 5 stars, it's a really good natural deodorant, just don't expect the fragrance to last long.
