This poem was inspired by my slide show about this same dragonfly. I was attending my son's soccer game, and the dragonfly described lit on top of my friend's cell phone. She squealed with delight and had me take a quick photograph of it. The contrast between the man-made technology and the natural properties of the dragonfly made this an interesting experience.
