The rich soil runs through my fingers,
and the musky scent invades my nostrils.
Tiny shoots wait patiently
to be placed lovingly
in the holes I have dug.
The sun beams down
and the tiny buds soak it in,
as the roots wait for showers soon to come.
I wait patiently for the colorful bounty,
knowing the harvest will be sweet indeed.
and the musky scent invades my nostrils.
Tiny shoots wait patiently
to be placed lovingly
in the holes I have dug.
The sun beams down
and the tiny buds soak it in,
as the roots wait for showers soon to come.
I wait patiently for the colorful bounty,
knowing the harvest will be sweet indeed.
