Nature's Gate Natural Toothpaste Cool Mint Gel Product Review

This toothpaste fights cavities and is an all natural anti plaque and tartar control toothpaste. This toothpaste is sugar free, fluoride free, has no artificial flavors, and contains refreshing spearmint and peppermint oils.

I am very picky as to what brand of toothpaste I use. A few days ago as I was doing some shopping, one item on my list was toothpaste, so I headed towards the toothpaste aisle. I was currently using a brand that I did not care for very well, so I wanted something different and that is when I spotted Nature's Gate Cool Mint Gel Toothpaste. I wanted something spearmint flavored and saw that this brand had the flavor I wanted and I decided to purchase this and give it a try. My mother tried this brand of toothpaste but did not care for it much because of it being a gel and not a paste.

When I got back home, I decided to brush my teeth and see how much of a spearmint flavor this had to offer. I placed an adequate amount of the toothpaste onto my toothbrush and as soon as I began brushing, a fresh taste of spearmint immediately bursts out. The spearmint flavor that you get with this product was not as intense as I thought it would be. It is not as intense as a piece of Wrigley's Spearmint Gum but you can taste the spearmint. The gel does adhere to your teeth really well and does not turn into a watery mess once it hits your teeth. This toothpaste foams up great and leaves the teeth feeling squeaky-clean & your breath fresh.

I really do recommend Nature's Gate Toothpaste if you prefer the gel form of toohpastes but also because this toothpaste leaves your whole mouth and breath minty fresh and feeling healthy every time you brush your teeth with Nature's Gate Cool Mint Gel toothpaste.

I ordinarily do not buy toothpaste in the gel form because I prefer the paste, but this gel is the best I have used as far as gels go. It does not disappear right away as soon as you begin brushing like other gel toothpastes seem to do once the water hits it and will adhere to your teeth to give a straight from the dentist feeling clean to your whole mouth.

The products come packaged in a box that is made from recycled materials. The box has a picture of spearmints on one quarter of the top part and the other three quarters of the box describes the product and lists the ingredients. There is also a picture of an Aloe Vera plant on the front of the box.

The side label on the box states the following information:

Golden seal contributes soothing benefits and Silica provides a mild abrasive action to help clean and refresh your mouth for a bright, sparkling smile.

I found this toothpaste at Sprouts Farmer's Market for $3.97 and there is 5 ounces in the tube. I normally use Tom of Maine's Spearmint Toothpaste and prefer that, but I decided to try this other brand to test it out and it is okay but Tom of Maine's is a paste form, which I prefer, and the Spearmint taste is much better.

Would I buy this again? Probably not only because I like paste form but for those who prefer gel toothpaste, this is great!
