Nature's Parody

If You've Ever Stopped and Thought About the "big Picture"

Nikki Freeman
My eyes fall light against the majestic beauty
of the smooth ocean blue
Every wave creates white snow
Crashing against the rough sands
Far and across the entire planet
It stretches history through every breath
Bellows from waves of curious confidence
Reaching for the pale moon light
and dark foreboding clouds in the star lit sky
Restless air sweeping the breast of the water
Keeping it's shallow existence, at a distance
As the awesome night rivals with the magnificent sea
In a match of beauty
A spectacle for me to endure
The satire
The laughter
Seeps out from the floor of the ocean
Humored by man's existence
And a great we think we are

Thank you, Jeff...The Ocean is very inspiring...It accumulates the majority of our world; it's so fascinating to really think about that. I find no better sanctity, then sitting at the edge of the ocean, and envisioning my own smallness comparatively. Thank you for your comment! Sincerely, Christina.
