The NBA Finals are here and many are making predictions and picks on the final matchup of Mavericks vs. Heat.
The Mavs and Heat also tangled in 2006 in the Finals with Miami coming out on top. The key players from both teams are back as Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki still lead their respective teams, Miami and Dallas, but LeBron James and other key players will make this series even more memorable if all goes according to plan.
Dallas has an edge in depth with Jason Terry coming off the bench to provide firepower Miami can't match among their second unit, or anyone in the NBA for that matter.
But the Heat have the Big 3 of Wade, James, and Bosh. Nowitzki will need a lot of help trying to outscore that trio.
Dallas has a big, deep frontline however that also gives them hope. Tyson Chandler should be able to dominate Joel Anthony down low on the boards for much of the series and Shawn Marion could also be a thorn in the Heat's side.
This is a tough series to pick and fans seem to be split. In the end, the Mavericks will fall just a little short in game seven as LeBron James cements his status as perhaps the game's new top player despite his uneven play at times considering his immense talent level.
