NBA: Lakers Vs. Nuggets

The NBA playoffs are rolling in town and the LA Lakers and Denver Nuggets are up to play in the western conference first round, the Western Conference has its share of power house teams, and the Nuggets and Lakers are definitely a pair out of the bunch. The Lakers have dominated the regular season series winning all three games against the Nuggets, the largest win by 28 points. So this series has already got a little heated up already.

The Lakers were the number one seed in the Western Conference, and the Nuggets barely squeezed in the last win to make in to the playoffs. So its no doubt who has been the successful team to start off. Though we really can't tell who has this one yet.

They start off the seven game series on Sunday to claim the first of four wins. After seeing how the regular season series went down, the favorite is the LA Lakers, but the nuggets have seven chances to win at least four, and the nuggets have the roster to pull it off. With Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson as the offensive threats. One of the reasons that the Nuggets averaged over 110 points per game. They also have Marcus Camby as the ruthless defender. Who happens to be last years Defensive Player of the Year, which shows he can make a play. With that in mind, their bound to win a few games. Not to forget that Kobe Bryant with a little help of Paul Gasol will be carrying the Lakers on his back through this round.

But the first game I would say goes to the Denver Nuggets, they have been on a hot run finishing the season with a couple of wins that barely nudged them in to the playoffs, and they should be able to squeeze in the win.
