NBC's "Heroes" Spoilers: Chapter 2

More Insider Secrets About "Heroes" on NBC

Carey
"Heroes" is one of those shows that just keeps getting better. Just when you think you've figured something out, the writers start changing it up. In the past few weeks, we've seen many changes come to pass. Niki learned from her alter ego that it was her that set up DL and stole the $2 million dollars. DL returned, figured out the deception and took son Micah, nearly killing Niki/Jessica in the process. DL and Micah had a destined encounter with Hiro and Ando, who all helped save the life of a young woman trapped in a burning car. Micah displayed an interesting power…a kinship with all things electronic. It also seems that he can easily distinguish between his mother and her alter ego.

We also met Nathan Petrelli's wife, who is in a wheel chair due to something Nathan did while driving. She also suspects Nathan may not be being honest with her about his "disappearance" in Las Vegas (tipped off by a nosy reporter), but for now is going along with his story that he was out there looking for a place for Peter to go and get help for his
"depression". Mohinder returned to India to scatter his father's ashes and presumably stay there, and we learned that his new friend Eden is working with HRG ("Horned-Rimmed Glasses, AKA Claire's father) who passed on the warning about saving the cheerleader.

So what's next for the superfriends (sorry, couldn't resist)? Here's a run-down on current spoilers and theories circulating on the net:

1) The newest spoiler/theory: Sean Bean, of "Lord of the Rings" fame, has been cast as Sylar…kind of. His is listed on the internet movie database as playing Paul Sylar (for at least two episodes) however, according to Kristin Veitch of www.eonline.com, Sylar will be played
by Zach Quinto (who has been on "24" and "Crossing Jordon" among numerous other roles). The only problem…Sylar's birthday was shown to be in 1962 (though this could be a red-herring), making Quinto much too young to play him. One theory is that Sean Bean has been cast as Sylar's father, and it is the son who has been doing the killings. But, Kristin Veitch went on to write that his character, according to her source, would be the opposite of what we would expect. This should put to rest the theory that Peter is Sylar (a Peter from an alternate future…where he has taken and is able to keep the powers of those he comes in contact with). However, it appears more likely that Sean Bean has not been cast on "Heroes", but time will tell.

2) We may not have seen the last of the radioactive widower, Ted. His statement about blowing up a city was just a little too ominous given we know New York is destined to explode if the heroes don't stop it.

3) Eden will give Isaac a gift that will change his life (maybe the ability to call his visions without the use of drugs?) and implies that she once went through something similar.

4) Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman, the psychic), let a few things slip in an interview with Michael Auseillo of TV Guide. Right now he's on his own and hasn't intersected with the other characters yet. But Grunberg told us he does have a scene with HRG and Claire, as well as Peter, which involves an interrogation scene where neither needs to speak out loud. This appears to be after Peter goes to Odessa with the intention of saving the cheerleader (see the picture from Episode 11: Homecoming). He also implied that the marks on his neck might be scars from some sort of implantation. Matt's headaches will also be getting worse (the reason for which we will learn) and Peter will get them too.

5) Hiro will go back in time to save someone.

6) Hiro will encounter a waitress who may have a connection to Eden.

7) Sylar may be a watchmaker.

8) A new hero will be joining the cast who has had his/her powers much longer than our current crew, and who's power has not yet been seen.

9) Nathan and Simone will try to track down the painting Linderman has, but its discovery may lead to tragedy.

10) An upcoming episode will take place 6 months in the past, where Mohinder's father, Chandra will meet someone very eager to be special.

Enjoy!

I love this show a lot. But I think this has been going on a little bit to long with the black mailer and the killings. You should not drag it out so long people get borred with it. Take it from me they do not want to go awy three weeks and come back and you are in the same spot nothing has ganged.Other than that you have a great movie here. Just you do the same lines over and over again. We can read them to you ,because they have been played that many times.Bring new people in and new lines.Because this is a great movie. And how many times does Sheridan need to die.Take her off the show,I opion of chiors.
