EA Sports has reflected that in the new game NCAA Football 2010 as the Wolverines have a good amount of individual talent judging by the player ratings.
NCAA Football 2010 Player Ratings (MI Wolverines)
Here are some notable player rankings for the Michigan Wolverines with comments:
Tate Forcier- 83 overall with 85 speed. Forcier is a freshman QB with high hopes reflected in these NCAA 2010 player ratings. A little ambitious, we'll see though.
Michael Shaw- 83 overall with 90 speed. Listed as a WR, which is not entirely true as he is mostly an RB. Also, his speed should be about 95 minimum as he is a true burner.
Greg Mathews- 88 overall, a solid possession guy. Good rating.
Brandon Minor- 89 overall with 90 speed as a power back. Fair rating for Minor who could do much better in 2010.
Patrick Omameh- 85 overall, a surprise as Michigan's highest-rated tackle.
Steve Schilling- 86 overall as a left guard. EA did their homework here but Dann O'Neill as starting left tackle is a mistake.
Defense Ratings in NCAA Football 2010
Brandon Graham- 93 overall, good rating for a very good NCAA player with potential to be great at LE.
Brandon Smith- 88 overall, surprising for a player who has barely played and may move to LB.
Obi Ezeh- 88 overall, not a bad ranking for Ezeh who must be more consistent.
Stevie Brown- 86 overall, he's been a starter for a year and change but hasn't proven anything yet. Too high.
Donovan Warren- 91 overall, solid rating for him.
Boubacar Cissoko- 86 overall, with only 92 speed. Speed should be much higher. 93 acceleration also way too low.
Mike Martin- 91 overall at DT, strength is a bit too low at 90 though.
Will Campbell- Freshman DT has nice 85 rating but 89 strength is not high enough.
Zoltan Mesko- 90 overall. Should be higher for perhaps nation's best punter.

I know this was an old entry, but it came up for me as I was looking for a site that rated current CFB players. We have all these numbers on recruits, and it would be handy to have them on all players so that when you wanted to watch a game where you didn't know the teams you could get a quick and dirty take on who were the bell cows and which units was weak or strong.
@Tyler
Michigan wasn't good in last year's game despite having some highly reated guys. Maybe they'll suck on this years game too, despite the ratings. Although I was excited about the ratings, I'm not sure they are too generous. None of Running Backs or Receivers are elite and they are all less than 90...pretty much on par. Same with the lineman, and as far as Forcier and Denard Robinson, they aren't rated too high, at least not by much. A freshman who had 50 offers like Tate, and enrolls early and does well often gets about an 82. Not saying he won't suck...just kinda normal for him to get that.
Forcier and some of the redshirt freshmen are a bit high but agreed Nick Cissoko and Campbell need to have their ratings tinkered.
I'm legitimately impressed that two Ohio State fans were able to figure out how to use their keyboards all by themselves and use relatively sound spelling.
Dude you are a joke.. your lucky they even let michigan make the cut this year hahahaha
GO BUCKS beeeaatch
im talking about individual category ratings. there is no doubt that cissoko for instance should have higher ACC go look at his combine tape he is the fastest backpedal guy many have ever seen. campbell also was just killing people, pancaking people at the san antonio combine and 89 strength is way too low. and shaw is a track guy, 90 speed is not enough.
