"NCIS" Season 8 Episode 7 "Broken Arrow"

This week's episode of "NCIS" didn't let fans down and as always gave them a great show. I for one loved every minute of this episode. Viewers get to meet Tony DiNozzo's father Tony Sr. for the second time. The nervous Tony Jr. brings a whole little boy picture of this Sauvé lady's man. Father Tony Sr. comes to town in a Gulfstream Five and the similarity of his excitement with the aircraft and Tony Jr.'s in season 1 is not dissimilar. However, we find that Tony Sr. is actually broke and he gets to use $9,000.00 of "NCIS" money to make his stay more pleasurable with room service and a cashmere tuxedo.

In order to solve the murder at hand "NCIS" as always uses the intense concentration of Abby's work and Ducky's great abilities as the Medical Examiner when Abby discovers the lost nuclear bomb is the item our murder victim is mixed up with and Ducky treats us to the cause of death at the hands of our killer.

Ziva gets an evening out with Tony Sr. in his cashmere tux and with his great punch they take down the killers to the surprise of Tony Jr.

By the end of this weeks show we get to see the inner workings of the father son relationship between Tony Jr. and Tony Sr. and learn that there was a time when Jr. was young and mom was alive that father and son actually enjoyed each others company. It brought a tear to my eyes to hear Tony Sr. and Tony Jr. speak to each other about opening up and talking to each other from now on.

Of course Jethro did his part and Timothy McGee pulled his great intellect to the forefront to actually discover what the plaque found in the cab was from.

The show gets deeper and deeper into the inner workings of each of the characters. We enjoyed seeing Ziva's excitement at receiving her US Passport, enjoyed that McGee defended Tony Jr. when speaking to Abby, Abby giving McGee the advice that Tony Jr. should be receiving by telling McGee that Jr. should just talk with Sr., which we actually get to see in the end of the show.

Of course Gibbs gives his great one at a time comments such as Ziva looks better in a dress than Tony and Gibbs speaking with Tony Sr. and asking if Sr. and Jr. ever really just talk to each other honestly.

Once again "NCIS" has an amazing season this time around and keeps us fans on the edge of our seat each week. Once the show is over we are looking forward to the next show to come.
