The Port of Tampa Will Be the Home to Norwegian Star in October 2011

West Coast cruisers from Tampa were excited to hear the word that Norwegian Cruise Line is bringing their picturesque 965 ft. Norwegian Star, to the Port of Tampa. Norwegian Star was built in 2001, and was refurbished in 2004. Adorned with colored streamers, and an assortment of colorful stars, her attractive hull artwork makes her a piece of art within herself. Anybody would be beaming to cruise on her.

She has a 105 foot beam, and accommodates 2,240 passengers. She's equipped with 12 bars/lounges, 16 assorted dining choices, and buffets that allow for you to eat either inside, or outside.

Each passenger will be amused in an assortment of ways. With an onboard health spa, gambling casino, pool, and pool slides, collectively with a video arcade, golf driving nets, and movie theater, there's enough to continuely keep you busy on the sea days.

Norwegian Star will cruise a 7 Day Western Caribbean itinerary, comprising of Roatan (Republic of Honduras), Belize City (Belize) Costa Maya (Mexico), and Cozumel (Mexico). It will have one day at sea along the way to the Caribbean, and one day at sea en route back to Tampa, with day by day calls at fresh places every day in between.

For those that have cruised on Norwegian Dawn, will adore this ship also, because Norwegian Star is Dawn's sister ship. Keep an eye on this fascinating ship to navigate beneath the picturesque Sunshine Skyway Bridge soon. Norwegian Star will commence her 7 day voyages from Tampa commencing October 16th, 2011.
