The state fair is a chance to see agricultural exhibits, eat good food, enjoy music and entertainment and get together with friends and neighbors.
New This Year! There are several brand new experiences at the fair this year. The Busch Bass Pro Shops Mobile Marketing Experience August 24-28 is a Sampling opportunity at a huge 42 food dock side bar. Budweiser Clydesdale's shows up to 12 Clydesdales horses. Get an up-close look at magnificent horses. The Superplay Fun Zone features mechanical bull, spider web, vortex tunnel and more. All New 2007 Toyota Tundra Prove It Tour is a Closed course ride and drive featuring new 2007 Toyota Tundra full size pickups. Test drive the Tundra over the driving courses. Latino Festival, Sunday, August 26: Latino celebrations with music and dancing all day. 1933 Replica Fuel Station: exhibit of the Earl Coryell Co. filling station is presented by the Nebraska Corn Board. DockDogs in Kidz Zone, DockDogs is and performance sports for dogs. Attendees can register their dog for the competition. Kachunga & the Alligator features a real Bushman who steps into the domain of the alligator form Florida and apprehends it with his bare hands. Additional new events include: Don Otto - The Diving Fool, Gizmoo he Robot, The Recycle Cycle, Jason the Juggler and Powerhouse.

2007 Grandstand Events require and additional $7 admission fee for adults and $2 for kids. Grandstand events include:Extreme Monster Truck Nationals, Bull Riding Spectacular, Car Racing, Tractor Pulls, and Demo Derby.
11 Nights of Terror presents "The Asylum"" with insane, high intensity bazaar adventures. The 4200 square foot haunt promises to be a scream. $5.
Nightmare on Kid's Street a thrilling haunt for kids $3.
The Nebraska Lottery presents the Open Auditorium Concert Series. Concerts start at 7 pm The Concerts are co0sponsored by Bristol Windows, Lincoln Benefit Life and U.S. Cellular.

The Nebraska State Fair runs from Friday, August 24 - Monday, September 3, 2007. Admission for Adults is $6 weekdays and $8 weekends and Labor Day. Children's 6-12 are $2.
