Bo Pelini's crew is 8th in points allowed and 25th in points scored. The one area the team has struggled is its passing game. Nebraska is shockingly 105th in the nation in passing yards per game. This shortcoming, however, is largely compensated by the Cornhuskers' terrific rushing game which ranks 8th overall. The key to Nebraska winning the championship is its passing defense.
