Need Content for Your Website and Don't Want to Pay for Unnecessary Rights?

A Guide on Purchasing Various Types of Web Content

Are you a novice website owner or small business owner who is looking to invest in some web content but are on a tight budget? If so, you will probably be the one purchasing web content and want to determine which kind of web content best suits your company's budget and needs.

Before you begin to look for specific web content, you need to decide how you want to use the content. Is it only going to appear on one website, or do you want to have the ability to reuse it on other sites? Moreover, you will have to decide if you want to be the only owner of that specific article, or would not mind sharing it with others. If you want no one else to be able to legally use that article, you will need to purchase it as "exclusive" and make sure you are given "full rights" to the content. Should you not care if other people post or use the article, then you can purchase "usage rights" which are sold as "non-exclusive" buy article brokers and content writers.

Now, you need to set a limit on how much you can spend for your total content purchase. Full rights articles will always cost more money, and usage rights will cost less. Another option is the "hybrid" method called PLR or Private Label Rights article packs. What this means is that a series of ten articles are purchased on a given subject and sold as non-exclusive. You, the owner, can turn them into new, unwritten content by having them re-written so they are indexed by the search engines as being unique to your site. PLR content is very affordable, and due to the bulk rates, can sometimes even be purchased less than buying individual usage-rights articles.

Last, if you have some titles in mind, but don't see the exact article you are looking for, some of the custom content-producing sites (see suggested resources for example) will custom-produce an article for you granting you exclusive rights. If this sounds like an option you are interested in, prices are based on word count and amount of research needed to complete the project. It is important to note though, if you choose this option, while the price may seem higher than most other articles, often times it is because the writer only keeps a potion of the sale and the site keeps the other portion for hosting, Paypal fees, credit card processing, etc. However, often times you are able to re-word the article and post it to another site as you are given full rights to your purchased article.
