Every 4th of July my Jack Russell becomes fearful of loud fireworks in my neighborhood. From the end of June through the first week of July, she's looking for a place to hide--anyplace but outside. Evenings are the worst. It's nearly impossible to get her to go out back to do her duty. There doesn't seem to be a long enough space of time that's boom-free.
