Neither Jewels nor Weather

Eloah James
How could the wind adore you more than I?
Though its caress may be as gently soft,
One day the breeze's force will fade and die,
While I will love you still, whither it waft.
How could the sun's passion equal your kiss?
Your lips burn mine as lava scorches earth.
No clouds cool nor rebuff the truth of this,
Snowfall cannot obscure desire's birth.
How could diamonds ever match your glitter?
How could rubies, sapphires, em'ralds dare hope?
Your beauty can only leave them bitter;
Your eyes drive them like lemmings off the slope.
Suns go supernova, winds fail to blow,
Gems all dull over: my love stronger grows.
