Neopet Neopies Day Nine: Things Take a Strange and Bizarre Twist

Miss Fortune
If you haven't been voting in the Third Neopies, you are missing out on some great prizes. It is a free site event that allows you to vote on some of the "best" things that happened at Neopets in 2010. You might not like some of the categories or choices but its free. While most of the prizes that have been given out are books there are Codestones and Bottled Faeries being awarded too. I haven't seen a huge price drop on any of the items given out but if you search the Shop Wizard often for the prizes chances are you will find at least a couple of them selling for 5 - 10 NP which is a complete steal.

Voting Category: Best Cameo Appearance in a Plot
Choices: Captain Rourke, Kanrik, King Altador, King Jazan
My Prize: Esophagor Stamp

Is this really a category? Looking back on 2010 there were so many site events and things going on that it seems a waste to have this category as part of the Neopies. How about best newly retired item or best sponsor event? Not everyone participated in a plot and new members might be clueless about it; there are pop up boxes that give you a little bit of detail but not enough to really help people make a solid choice.

My prize for voting was the "Esophagor Stamp", not a bad stamp but there are too many people complaining about the prizes and that it is ruining the economy. Umm, hello, when Faeries' Ruin was taking place it was a lot worse. One thing you need to be careful with is pricing; there are two different types of "Esophagor Stamp"; one is simply called "Esophagor Stamp" and the other is "Moonlit Esophagor Stamp" - there is a price difference between them even when they are not part of a site event so when using the Shop Wizard with an unfamiliar item its always best to select the "identical to my phrase" option.
