Neopets "13 Days of Trick or Treat": Tricks, Treats & an Awesome Bonus Item!

The Haunted Faire may have started out slow but it added some nice perks to the Halloween portal. In addition to the ongoing Faeries Ruin plot the Haunted Faire allowed you to bob for an apple once a day and take part in the NC Mall sponsored 13 Days of Trick or Treat. No one knew what the prizes would be but you could purchase bag packages for one, five or thirteen days. I opted to go for the thirteen day package in the hopes of getting some cool limited edition Halloween items for my gallery. Some people got tricks, some people got treats.

Day One: "Crawling Spyders Foreground", Day Two: "Color Changing Contacts", Day Three: "Boo-ffant Wig", Day Four: "Egg Splat Shower", Day Five: "Glow in the Dark Facepaint", Day Six: "Sneaky Meowclops Foreground", Day Seven: "Gothic Parasol", Day Eight: "Halloween Prank Background", Day Nine: "Spectral Candles Shower", Day Ten: "Haunted Manor Background", Day Eleven: "Three Headed Monster Costume", Day Twelve: "Are you Looking at Me Portrait", Day Thirteen: "Gnarled Bone Wings". I almost missed the "question mark box" that appeared after I collected the last bag. From that I got "Halloween Candy Bowl Hat" and 2 Basic Gift Boxes. The Basic Gift Boxes are used to send NC Mall items to other Neopet members.

I was hoping that the NC Mall would have a couple more free Halloween goodie bags to collect but there was only one released. There are some new items available including the "Bobbling Meowclops Bobblehead", "Gothic Floor Candles", "Halloween Gift Box Mystery Capsule", "Gothic Vine Face Paint", "The Sinking Clouds of Faerieland" and "Haunted Window Wings". Some of these items are only available for a limited time so if you see a small black star next to the name of the item, do not wait too long to buy it. Click on the image to see the details of it and when it will magically vanish from the site. At this point the "2010 Neopets Trick or Treat Bags" that are usually released at six spots on the site have not been released however the ones from 2009 (Cute N Creepy Trick-or-Treat Bag) were spotted around the site.
