Day 1: 855 NP, Woodland Archer Cookies, Festive Ornament
Day 2: 510 NP, Holiday Mecha Nova Plushie, Holiday Sloth Desk
Day 3: 784 NP, Festive Flower Arrangement, Where is Bonju
Day 4: 611 NP, Winter Woodland Music Box, Decorated Branches
Day 5: 872 NP, Holiday Bow Tie, Bruce Holiday Card
The "Woodland Archer Cookies" stayed a strong seller throughout the Advent Calendar and are still priced way too high to hoard. If past performances of greeting and holiday cards are an indicator then the "Bruce Holiday Card" will be nice to have when it retired in a few years. "Where Is Bonju" is the first book of the event and will make a nice item for galleries as well as those seeking to get the Neopian Book Award.
Day 6: 846 NP, Yooyu Snowman, Snowy Scarf
Day 7: 800 NP, Faerie Fruit Filled Stocking, Gingerbread Faerie
Day 8: 865 NP, Inside the Wishing Well Background, Chocolate Coin Wishing Well
Day 9: 986 NP, Geraptiku Play Set, Island Explorer Plushie
Day 10: 522 NP, Holiday Esophagor Plushie, Candy Keys
One of the items I really wanted to get a ton of was "Candy Key"; I managed to find about ten of them selling for 10 - 20 NP but that was a rarity. "Gingerbread Faerie" makes for a nice gallery item but everyone went crazy for the "Faerie Fruit Filled Stocking". Any time you get an Esophagor item its nice but getting a plushie is better - but getting a holiday themed one was excellent. I still think there are clues to the "Wishing Well Avatar" hidden in the image of the "Chocolate Coin Wishing Well" or the "Inside the Wishing Well Background"
Day 11: 849 NP, Kreludan Hannah Plushie, Defenders Holiday Banner
(plus the "Rod of Supernova" prank)
Day 12: 576 NP, Holiday Potato, Extreme Holiday Potato
Day 13: 555 NP, Hubrid Nox Brucicle, Hubrid Nox Mustache
Day 14: 944 NP, Negg Faerie Poster, Decorated Negg
Day 15: 830 NP, Hexed Illusen Doll, Illusens Holiday Cream Cookie
There have been a lot of great cookies given out this year but none of them have dropped to a price that makes it able to buy a ton of them. The "Hexed Illusen Doll" is going to be a good seller because of the look of it and that it is a faerie item. My personal favorite pick for non-cookie edible has to be the "Hubrid Nox Brucicle". It's great for Halloween as well as those who are Nox fans.
Day 16: 645 NP, Lump of Flaming Coal, Plate of Charred Cookies
Day 17: 987 NP, Christmas Von Roo Plushie, JubJub Power Bounce Playset, Terror Mountain Winter JubJub Power Bounce Token
Day 18: 737 NP, Ponderings for the Holidays, King Hagan Collectable Pencil
Day 19: 983 NP, Basket of Yarn, Old Lady Xweetok Action Figure
Day 20: 992 NP, Cup of Ghostly Borovan, Holiday Ghost Marshmallow Garland
One of the items that I am looking forward to buying hundreds of is the "Cup of Ghostly Borovan"; another is the "Christmas Von Roo Plushie". The book "Ponderings for the Holidays" is sure to be a classic in a couple of years when it is retired but for right now you can find copies for less than 2K if you search the Shop Wizard. A lot of Neopet scams will involve the "King Hagan Collectable Pencil"; in past NC Mall Neocash events school items were given out and I am sure it will only be a matter of time before people start trying to sell this as one of those rare items.
Day 21: 623 NP, Petpetpet Stocking, Larnikin Plushie, Magical Meatball, Magical Marshmallow
Day 22: 992 NP, Pile of Drenched Gifts, Christmas Kiko Plushie
Day 23: 551 NP, Holiday Shopping List, Empty Faerie Bottle
Day 24: 512 NP, Dancing Raindorf Toy, Raindorf Dances
Day 25: 990 NP, Lost Desert Snowglobe, Sand Snowflake
Fans of the new "Neopets Habitarium" were loving the two items given away on Day 21 because two of them were items that went directly into the "Habitarium" module. We also got another Christmas themed plushie with the "Christmas Kiko Plushie" and yet another book with "Raindorf Dances". I am sure that the "Empty Faerie Bottle" will be used to scam people; even though it does nothing but look pretty I am sure the scammer and hackers at Neopets will try to sell it for thousands of NP claiming that it will do something special for your Neopet.
Day 26: 760 NP, Ugly Christmas Sweater, Finding the Best Ugly Sweater
Day 27: 831 NP, Tower of Presents, Giant Red Grarrl Action Figure
Day 28: 993 NP, Hand Painted Ogrin Ornament, Reduced Sign
Day 29: 980 NP, Snowflake Shirt, Snowflake Skirt
Day 30: 789 NP, Holiday Hoop, 101 Ways To Annoy A Uni
Day 31: 712 Neopoints, Miniature Wheel of Monotony, Baby Chomby Cookie, "Winter Holiday" site theme
The last week of the Advent Calendar had some amazing things including two books, a couple of nice wearables and more ornaments. Even though we didn't get a Paint Brush from the event, there were a lot of great items given out. If you collected every day you have ended up with an extra 24,482 NP. Not bad at all for clicking on a couple links to claim your prizes. The Advent Calendar is only operational during the month of December and you can only collect prizes once a day so if you forget or get sidetracked and don't collect there is no option to pick up prizes from other dates.
