Neopets 2010 Advent Calendar Day 30 & 31: Annoyed Uni's, a New Site Theme and More Cookies!

Miss Fortune
The last two days of the Advent Calendar were tense times; would there be an avatar released? Would there be a Paint Brush given away? The two final days featured some nice prizes but nothing that I would call spectacular. Even so, free is free and you simply can't argue with that!

Day 30: We got a lot of great books this year, "101 Ways To Annoy A Uni" is sure to be a strong seller. The "Holiday Hoop" toy has dropped to about 10NP already but I am sure it will dip to single digits before long. It's a cute toy but it is seasonal so until next October rolls around and people start shopping for gifties chances are it will sell for peanuts. There are a couple of NC Mall events that are running in to January so if you have been putting off getting things there, don't drag your feet.

Day 31: New Years Eve! Even though I was hoping for a Paint Brush I can't complain about the last day of the Advent Calendar. Not only did we get 712 NP but a rather nifty "Miniature Wheel of Monotony" toy and another edible. I think the "Baby Chomby Cookie" is too cute to eat but it will be at least a week for it to drop to a hoard-worthy price. In addition to the two prizes and NP I also received the "Winter Holiday" theme. This was at the bottom of the page and was a nice little extra to wrap up the event. At first I thought it was a new avatar but when I read it a little closer I realized it was indeed a theme.

That's all for the 2010 Advent Calendar. It will roll up its carpet until next December but there are still a lot of inexpensive items from it on the Shop Wizard. You can still visit Terror Mountain with the hopes of getting a Random Winter Event or finding some type of ice cold Negg.

I am really surprised we didn't get the avatar that TNT hinted at. Oh well! Free goodies is still awesomesauce!
