Neopets 2010 Advent Calendar Day Eight: Could These Prizes Be Clues to Unlocking the "Wishing Well Avatar"?

If you've been racking your brain trying to figure out the illusive "Wishing Well Avatar" today's prizes from the Advent Calendar will make you smile. Not only did I get 865 NP but I also received a "Inside the Wishing Well Background" and a "Chocolate Coin Wishing Well". The chocolate Wishing Well is indeed a Food item so it is a one time use item. Backgrounds at Neopets are a big thing these days so I am sure that people are going to be using both items to see if they can crack the riddle to get the avatar. I don't think these two items will have anything to do with it since the avatar information was released so long ago but so far no one has been able to figure out exactly how to get it.

I have the feeling that the "Chocolate Coin Wishing Well" is going to be a high demand item in the future. "Gold Chocolate Coins" (Y4), "Silver and Gold Chocolate Coins" (Y5) and "Chocolate Dubloons" (Y7) are all past Advent Calendar items in this type of theme and all of them are strong sellers. It does help that they are retired items but even if they were still active they would be a great item to resell for a huge profit. Today is also the last day for the Sonic Colors event; I must have missed one of the prize days (Green Potion) because I was all excited to hit the portal and see what was given away on the last day of the promotion. Makes me laugh a little since I am the one that usually reminds everyone to check the daily events. It pays to read the Message Boards and poke around the site; you never know when something is going to get added. And as SpookyJillian always says, "You need to read the News page!"
