Neopets 2010 Advent Calendar Day Fifteen: Another Visit from the Faeries

Even though Faerieland is still in a stoned state, the faeries seem to be having a lot of fun at the Winter Starlight Celebration. Not only did we get another Food item today but an adorable albeit hexed doll. The "Illusens Holiday Cream Cookie" is a cute seasonal version of the regular cookie that you can find at the site and the "Hexed Illusen Doll" is something that any faerie lover or collector will want to get multiples or. Oh, and there were also 830 NP given out when you visited the Advent Calendar portal. Not bad at all.

If you are an NC Mall fanatic there is another free goodie bag you can claim. The "Sweet Dreams Goodie Bag" is another animated freebie in the shape of a candy cane. This is a nice companion piece to the other free bag that was given away last week. If you missed out on claiming the "Ornament Holiday Goodie Bag" you might be able to catch it again; sometimes they reappear and sometimes they don't. You have to click the "Claim" link in order to get it added to your inventory. If you want to send one to a friend you need to have a special gift box to send an NC item in.

Not much else is going on at the site. The Winter Starlight Celebration hasn't really had anything major since the start of the Advent Calendar and I have not seen any increase in Random Events. The Faeries' Ruin plot is still dragging out so the usually faerie themed things like quests and the Faerieland Employment Agency are still off limits. The current boss to beat is impossible and I think a lot of people are just hoping that the next time the Neopet News is posted it will reveal the ending of the saga so things can go back to normal. We only saw a few days of the Faerie Festival before this started so who knows if that will continue on for a week once this is wrapped up.
