Neopets 2010 Advent Calendar Day Three: Half the Price, Twice the Fun!

Day Three arrived with some cold temperatures and some unexpected snow but things were heating up at midnight at Neopets. The "Winter Starlight Celebration" is in full effect with quick links to some of the festivities, the biggest of which is the Advent Calendar. Every day you can visit and get a free gift or two. This is the third day of the event that runs the whole month and so far we've gotten two prizes a day and some NP. Today my gifites were: 784 Neopoints, "Festive Flower Arrangement" and "Where Is Bonju" (please note, there is no question mark at the end of the book title).

"Festive Flower Arrangement" is a wearable item as well as being a Special; likewise "Where Is Bonju" is a book (one time use) and is also Special. That means that when someone reads it to their pet it is gone forever. You can't go back and collect on days that you miss the Advent Calendar so be sure to add it to your list of daily deeds at the site. This is the first book of the event and the prices are in the 3K range for it; if it performs like other books that have been given out you can expect a drop in price as more people claim their prizes today. Since it is the third of the month that also means that it is Half Price Day; all of the regular shops will be selling their items for half their normal price. This does not include The Hidden Tower (which may or may not be open because of The Faeries' Ruin plot). The Sonic Colors event will be over next week and there is still one more prize waiting in the wings. There are three prizes (two already awarded) so we are all waiting to see if the third will be a Special item or another regular. You can also hit the portal and answer a trivia question for 200 NP.
