Neopets 2011 Daily Dare! Are You Up for the Challenge?

The first game of the event is Top Chop; Abigail requires a score of 325 or better and AAA will push you to get 1,000 or better. Knowing this is not one of my strongest games and the highest I have ever gotten is a smidge below 700 I took the safe route and went with Abigail. If you have never played the game you do have the option to not pick an opponent and try it out, just don't submit your score and you can practice until you feel comfortable with it. The game took forever to load for me which is something that can happen when a new event goes live and everyone wants to get a jump on it.

My prizes for beating Abigail were: "Pile of Wooden Planks" (Furniture) and "Best Woods For Chopping" (Book / Special). Once you beat the score for your challenger and submit your score you will see a pop up window letting you know that you beat Abigail or AAA and the prizes you were awarded. If you go to the prize or game page you will see the item. You can click on them for more information even if you already added them to your Safety Deposit Box. The Wooden Planks was an extra prize for beating Abigail on the first day of the event.

In addition to the regular daily challenge there is also a Team Challenge as well as the Staff Tournament; neither of those are active yet but if you check the portal you will see messages telling you when those events will be happening. Even if you lurk on the Message Boards you will want to check out what people are posting about the Daily Dare so far. Last year there were some great prizes given out for people to participated every day as well as those who votes in the Staff Tournament. You never know when TNT is going to add some surprises to the event so it is something that you should check on a daily basis so you don't miss anything.
