Neopets Altador Cup VI Prize Shop is Now Open!

After clicking, screaming, swearing, tapping and two pots of coffee a day I made it to All Star. One of the things that kept me going (outside of caffeine) was thinking about what would surface in the Prize Shop for the Altador Cup. While I'm not too thrilled with most of the items at the moment I am sure that eventually I will warm up to them. In addition to earning 25,227 Prize Shop points I was also awarded a wooden trophy (rolling eyes). At least it shows "All Star" on my lookup. A wood trophy? Really?

I was hoping there would be a cheap food item this time around, I started collecting "Altador Cup Chocolate Coins" last year and wanted to get 10K collected, I'm not even half way there. The cheaper items include "Altador Cup Sticker" (1 pt), "Yooyuball Cereal" (10 pts), "Foil Covered Chocolate Altador Cup Trophy" (25 pts), "Altador Cup Jigsaw Puzzle" (25 pts), "Altador Cup Mug" (every team, 30 pts each), "Altador Cup - The Board Game" (40 pts), "Toy Yooyu Play Pen" (50 pts).

"Techos Guide For Altador Cup Fanatics" (70 pts) and "No Longer Stranded In The Desert" (75 pts) are the only two books that I saw there but I have no interest in the "Yooyu Wood Carving", "Discretely Buried Yooyu", "Altador Cup Kite Shield" but for 200 pts you can get "Kougra Balm" which I saw someone trying to sell for 80,000 NP. Good luck with that.

"Altador Cup Backpack" (300 pts), "Altador Cup Gear Trunk" (300 pts), "Altador Cup Lunchbox" (400 pts) I was really disappointed that this was a School item and not a Food item. The price on it is never going to skyrocket because it isn't a one-time-use item. Jerseys available: "Vintage Darigan Altador Cup Jersey" (400 pts), "Vintage Roo Island Altador Cup Jersey" (400 pts), "Vintage Krawk Island Alt Cup Jersey" (500 pts) and "Vintage Lost Desert Altador Cup Jersey" (600 pets)

The more expensive items include: "Altador Cup Wig (1K), "Tandrak Shaye Action Figure (2K), "Altador Cup VI Commemorative Stamp (5K), "King Altador Yooyuball Statue (10K), "Altador Cup Aftermath Background (15K), "Darigan Yooyu Plushie (20K), "Mutant Yooyu (30K) and the big prize this year "Lost Desert Paint Brush (40K). Maybe next year I'll have enough points to get one of those illusive paint brushes!
