Neopets Capri Sun Returns to Neopets with a New Community Challenge!

Miss Fortune

It's that time again! It's time to respect the pouch with Neopets and Capri Sun at the new site event. This time around there is a community challenge and a couple of games to play plus videos you can watch. The event started on May 2 and runs through July 10. Visit the Instructions page near the Progress Meter to see the weeks of the event. If the challenge is completed there is a prize of 5,000 NP and a virtual prize awarded. You can find the 2011 Capri Sun portal here: www.neopets.com/sponsors/caprisun/2011/index.phtml

Let's Arm Wrestle Community Challenge: This is something that you have to go to the portal, click on and 'sign up' for. Once you do you will get a Neomail from TNT thanking you for signing up for the event. Place The Straw: I had some trouble with this the first time I played but as long as you keep clicking the bullseye you should be able to get it to the 8 or 9 slot. I played three times and made it to the 9 slot when I figured out what I was doing. You may not get your NP instantly, there were a couple times that it took a while to actually show in my balance. I had to leave the portal then go back to it for the NP to update.

There are only two games in the Arcade so far: "Capri Sun Peggy's Peelout" and "Capri Sun TableTop Throwdown". These take forever to load and have adverts on them. I really preferred the games that were available last year. If you can them to load and play them once it will count towards the Top Gamer avatar if you haven't already received it. I can't see myself playing Table Top Throwdown often, you have to go through several rounds and it is extremely time consuming and a tad frustrating. These are not nearly as fun as the Shell Shock and Beach Brawl that were available last year.
