Neopets Daily Dare 2010 Challenge: Day Three - Snowmuncher

Snowmuncher is the third game in the Neopet Daily Dare Challenge. It isn't a hard game but you are playing against a timer and need to make sure that Dieter doesn't hit 100%. To keep him happy you need to hit the potion bottles to reduce his bloat level by 50%. Along the way you will come across green and purple gems, collect those to raise your score. You will have to pick your challenger first so if you are good at the game you might want to try to beat AAA. You can only submit scores three times but you can play as many times as you want until you get the score needed to best AAA. When you submit a winning score you will see the message in the NP award box; prizes are not automatically added to your inventory, you will have to go to the Daily Dare page to collect them.

To win this challenge you need to beat Abigail (with a score of 450 or more) or AAA (with a score of 3,400 or more). My all time highest score for Snowmuncher is in the 4K range but I knew that it had been a long time since I had been able to get that score so I went with Abigail to play it safe. My prize for beating her was "How to Eat Ice Blocks" (Book) (Special) which is selling for about 5K on the Shop Wizard. I'm not stocking up on them until they drop in price; I will do some searches on it to see if there are any priced below the norm but usually prices on prizes like this drop a few days after they are released. The third part of the event is to beat Lulu in the NC Challenge; to do that you need to purchase game tickets and beat her score of 600. If you haven't already gotten the Snowmuncher avatar, you can snag it if you submit a score of 5,000 points or more. There is only one known cheat for the game; I have not tried this as I do not know if it is an allowable cheat. Type "buuuurrrrrrrrp" to reduce the bloat by 50%. Use this at your own risk!
