Neopets Daily Dare 2010 Challenge: Day 24 "Faerie Cloud Racing"

Day 24 of the Daily Dare is "Faerie Cloud Racers"; you need to beat Abigail (45 points), AAA (1,200 points) or Lulu (75 points) to win. When I saw the game for a second I thought it was the newer version that I find incredibly hard to play but this one was easy to beat on my second try. My game advice; try to cut off your opponent, play on the lowest quality graphics and check the edges of the board to see if there are objects that will cut you off. If you can force the other faerie to block themselves in then all you have to do is cruise around until they bump in to something.

My score was 112 so I won a "Faerie Cloud Racing" (Book) (Special); when I first saw the prize I thought that it was a book that was already released instead of a Special item. It is classified as a Special so chances are the prices on this are going to be increasing when they supply starts to thin out. Right now the lowest price on the Shop Wizard is about 4K; on the Trading Post they are about the same price. Since books and foods are one time use items they generally increase when they are a special release item. It may take a while to see a profit from them but if you buy them cheaply and hoard them in your Safety Deposit Box you should have no trouble selling them for a huge profit later on.

You will have to visit the Daily Dare page to collect your prize and be sure to check out the different trophies that are available if you take part in the event. I am hoping to be able to beat Abigail in all of the events but unless some really easy games appear I won't be able to do any more Double Dares. Even so, this is a great way to expose players to other games at the site, get some Neopoints and bulk up your SDB with some cool free items!
