Neopets NC Mall Altador Cup Shop: Terror Mountain and Meridell Team Exclusives!

The newest additions to the Altador Cup Shop at the NC Mall include the Meridell Team Cuffs and Terror Mountain Team Cuffs (150 NC each); the Altador Cup Jerseys (150 NC) and Altador Cup Team Spirit Banners (150 NC) for some teams have not been released yet so if you are looking for a specific one make sure you check back often. This is part of the buildup for the 2011 Altador Cup which means that you need to check the prize shop to see if you have any left over points from last year. The Altador Cup is one of the biggest yearly events to happen at Neopets; anyone can join in the fun and earn points that are later redeemed for prizes. You don't know what the point conversion is or what prizes will be offered but that's part of the fun of it. The message boards are a great place to pick up tips and hints as well as cheering on the team that you are playing for. Some people do tend to get a little competitive but most people are more than happy to give advice to new players. If it weren't for fellow AC contributor and Neopet fanatic Jillian I probably wouldn't have earned half the points I did last year. Last year I made it to Level 10, before that I didn't even have a ranking outside of "beginner".

The "Grundo Reeducation Center" has been mentioned several times in the Neopet News; after seeing some of the NP people were claiming to put up on a stamp in an auction I had absolutely no desire to learn more about it. The Wheel of Extravagance is attracting more and more people with the possibility of getting a Nerkmid, Job Coupon or Paint Brush but people need to remember that there is no guarantee when spinning any wheel and at 100K NP per spin (limited to once a day) it can get costly to keep up with it and beat the odds. I've spun four times with mixed results, I haven't gotten anything even remotely close to the 400K NP I've spent on it but I am going to try a few more times before I made a decision on whether to add it to my Dailies or delete the link to it on my toolbar.
