Not a lot of people know what a "cracker" is; in England and other parts of the UK they are small tubes that can be filled with toys or sweets. At Neopets the crackers are something that you can receive as a Random Event or find in certain shops. Some of them are retired and sell for more but this year there is a special one in the NC Mall. The Red Holiday Cracker Gram is priced at 200 NC (or a cash conversion of two dollars). In order to make a purchase you need to have Neocash in your account. You can obtain that by purchasing a Neocash card or buying it at the site using a credit card or PayPal.
This is a limited time NC Mall purchase and will only be on sale until January 8, 2012. It is a one time use item and the current selling price in it is 200 NC but you do not need to use a Gift Box to send this to someone. When you elect to send one to a friend you will see a drop down box with five choices to make. The items that you can send to a friend include: "Jinjah Handheld Plushie", "Ornamented Horns", "Peppermint Shield", "Tinsel Trees Foreground" or "Tree Decorating Background".
When you make your purchase at the NC Mall you will need to enter your password information, when you send this to a Neofriend you will need your password as well as your PIN if you have one set. You will get a Neomail from The Neopets Team when you make your purchase as well as when your friend opens it, you will not get one when you send it. I had 1,000 NC that was getting ready to expire so I figured that the crackers would be a nice thing to snag to send to Neofriends. Chances are I will only send a couple and save the others to trade. It is a nice looking item for galleries too; anything that is toy, Christmas, cracker or seasonally themed would be more than appropriate for this type of item.
