Neopets Neopies Day Seven: Best Species-Specific Wearable

I don't have any of the species that were up for voting so I went with the one that has the cutest clothing option, the Kacheek. This also brings up wearable and non-wearable clothing. You never know when TNT is going to convert something and make it wearable so it really does pay to buy cheap clothing items and toss them in your Safety Deposit Box. You can make an incredible amount of NP in a matter of minutes when something gets converted.

The same thing can be said for retired items; stamps, books and food items that get retired initially go through the roof as everyone scrambles to hoard them but in most cases the prices do level off after a week or so. Some people don't pay attention to site events, giveaways and other things that cause drastic changes in the Neopets economy. When the recent Faeries' Ruin plot was going on there were no quests and the Faerieland Employment Agency was closed so there were a lot of items commonly requested that were selling cheap. Needless to say, I spent a lot of my site-time buying cheap things like "Clamade", "Peanut Butter Pizza", "Red Sausage", "Bar of Soap" and "Red Apple".

With the Neopies going on, people are a little paranoid about the prices on books dropping; this is not like Apple Bobbing (a daily event) so it won't be around for more than a couple of weeks. Instead of complaining about the price drop, start buying the cheap copies of the books and sell them for a profit in a few months. Since there are always new people joining the site there is always going to be a demand for the one-time-use items.
