Neopets New "Spooky Moon Halloween Mystery Capsule"!

It's rare that I get enticed in to buying NeoCash Cards to spend at the NC Mall; but when Halloween rolls around there are a ton of great seasonal items that you can buy there. NC / NeoCash is what you need in order to make a purchase there. You can buy it with a credit card, via PayPal or by getting a NC Card at local retailers. The perk for buying the card locally instead of with a credit card is you can get rare items; one of the things that I bought for my gallery was the "Spooky Moon Halloween Mystery Capsule" but I accidentally opened it instead of moving it to my gallery. As soon as I get another card I will buy another one (this is on sale until November 8^th) and put it in my gallery.

The "Spooky Moon Halloween Mystery Capsule" costs 250 NC so it has a real world value of $2.50. Each NC is the equivalent of one cent so if you buy a $25.00 card you get 2,500 in NC to spend. The items that I received in my capsule included: "Halloween Shindig Background", "Hero of Neopia Mask", "Autumn Jack O Lantern Staff", "Gypsy Girl Striped Headscarf" and the "Candy Corn Bow Tie". I was surprised that I got five items but without buying another capsule and opening it I can't say that everyone will get the same items. I had some extra NC in my account so it wasn't a big loss to accidentally open it.

The capsule itself is adorable and is an animated version Mystery Capsule. It makes for a nice gift if you have the special gift boxes that you can use to send other Neopet players gifts from the NC Mall. This is a one time use item, once you open it you can't use it again or save the capsule to your Inventory or Gallery. I thought that there was a way to save the capsule to your Gallery but it doesn't seem possible. In any event, it will show up in your NC Mall Album viewable from your user page.
