Neopets "Wheel of Extravagance" First Week Results

Miss Fortune
Neopets loves to sucker people out of their hard earned NP / Neopoints. I was all giddy when I saved up a million NP in my Shop Till and was going to spend it on enlarging my gallery and then the Wheel of Extravagance showed up. At 100,000 NP per spin (once a day and only on your main account) it can get expensive to feed the addiction. Every time I broke even or got a lower-than-paid NP amount I said "That's it! No more!" But I went back the next day thinking that it could be my lucky spin.

Here are the results of my first week of the Wheel of Extravagance
:

Day One: Gold Job Coupon - Day Two: 100,001 NP
Day Three: Nothing - Day Four: 50,000 NP
Day Five: 25,000 NP - Day Six: Golden Nerkmid XX
Day Seven: 100,001 NP - Week Eight: Nothing

Even though I broke even on two days I still didn't get ahead with the two prizes that I won. The Gold Job Coupon teeters between being unbuyable and showing up in shops for about 95K. The Golden Nerkmid XX is selling for about 300K on the Shop Wizard but that could change in a matter of minutes if the market gets flooded with them. I am going to have to think about whether I want to keep trying to improve my results by spinning for another week or not. When I think of some of the things I could have gotten for my Spooky Gallery (not to mention the cost of expanding it) it does make me a little sick.

I have no idea how long this wheel is going to be around but at 100K a spin I can't see most of the casual players hitting it every day. That could be a good thing for the stability of the prices on the items that are given away but it could work against restockers that are looking to snipe cheap items. You can spin the wheel here: Wheel of Extravagance

My results have been less then spectacular as well. Then there are the rare cases of someone getting a r100 worth double digit millions that keep us spinning.

The Nerk won't show up on the Shop Wizard, I meant to say the Trading Post. Sorry about that!
