Although it is sad, I had to learn about this new rental method from an Indian foreign exchange student, who was my roommate, while attending college in 2004. Since that time, I have been a loyal supporter and unassociated advocate of Netflix. The best advantage of using this system compared to other companies such as Blockbuster is the wide variety of movies that one can rent. My neighbors must think my husband and I am a very "traveled" couple since we are constantly watching international movies that normally we would not be able to get our hands on.
Netflix personnel seek to amaze me though that they have again stepped into the future before its realistic time. This leading company has come up with a new option that is free (yes, you heard it correctly). This option gives instant access to watch DVD's online! By already being a member of Netflix, anyone can watch the DVD's through internet explorer 6.0 or higher free of charge. If already a member, just go to the membership page and click on the button "Watch Now" for free access to tons of videos.
At first I was skeptical however after watching my first movie; there were no hidden tricks or costs. Just click on the "play" button next to a movie and a full movie can be viewed from your computer screen. For those computer people that have the computer hooked up to the television screen, movies can be viewed all the time. Though I believe this new option is a charge against the arch enemy Blockbuster's marketing concept stating "don't be like Netflix members and wait for the mail for days", I do not care. It is a wonderful addition to my membership that costs around $18.00 per month for three movies at a time.
Since this option is included in the membership, current members be aware of this new option and get out there and enjoy the online movies during the times of waiting for the next arrival. We have tested it and it really works. For those whom have always wanted to try Netflix, just get out there and test the waters. There is a one month free trial which includes the free online movie watching also. See for yourself how convenient and how easy it can be to rent movies without the high costs of rental stores.

Post a CommentHaving a blockbuster right down the road I find Blockbuster to be better because I just exchange the dvds in there at the store instead of mailing them and each return works as a free movie rental. Thanks for sharing.
