Neutrogena Instant Bronze Tinted Sunless Face

I have been a sunless tanner user for years. I have tried every lotion, spray, and foam you can imagine. I have had my skin turn bright orange with some, and a great even tan with others. Neutrogena products have always seemed to work the best for me, so when I noticed this little bottle made specifically for faces, I decided to give it a try.

Normally I use the regular sunless products on my face also which produce decent results, so I was kind of skeptical as to why they made a product solely for your face. However, I decided to give it a shot to see what the hype was all about. Now that I have experienced the results of Neutrogena's Instant Face Tanner, I will not be using anything but this product for facial tanning. There are several factors that brought me to this decision, and from one consumer to another, I will point out the great, good, and not so good points of this product.

First, the smell is pleasant. If you have ever experimented with sunless tanners, then you know that some of them have a horrible smell that seems to stick with you for days. This was especially important to me seeing that it will be applied to my face (the closest to my nose). The first thing I noticed was a sweet and light smell, and after a few minutes, I hardly noticed any smell at all.

Second, the instant bronzer truly works. I always hate waiting for my tan to appear to see if I may have missed any spots. With the instant bronzer, you can see immediately if you need to put a little extra here or there or blend some spots out. The best part however, is that I looked like I had been in the sun for hours even though it had only been seconds. Two hours later, the total effects were in place and the tint turned into a deep golden, perfect colored tan.

I alsoI found that I got a lot of usage out of this one little bottle. It doesn't require much to cover your face, and the cream is so thick that you don't need to use too much at a time.

The only downfall I have found is the fact that if your face is oily or moisturized while applying, then you will not get the same results for some reason. Your tan will not be nearly as dark. I would recommend washing your face, drying it well and applying NO moisturizer before using this product. After it dries however, I would then suggest a moisturizer.

All in all, a great product. I am loyal to Neutrogena for all of their other wonderful facial products, and this is just another two thumbs up for the Neutrogena company. They have provided with yet another wonderful item!
